Theresa Hoffmann is a performer with a background in political research, movement, dancing and stunt work. She graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU) with a Diploma in Politics in 2013.
Afterwards she trained as a stunt double in Switzerland and Los Angeles and started to study performing arts at International Munich Art Lab (IMAL). Inspired by the strong focus on devising and collaborative work from those studies, she decided to study screen- and creative writing at the University of Television and Film in Munich (HFFF) as a guest for one term. In 2017 she moved to London to pursue her career further and studied at various institutions, including Identity School of Acting (IDSA) and Middleweek Newton Academy (MN).

Her acting always had a very physical approach with a strong focus on movement, which lead to the decision to specialise in physical theatre at Fourth Monkey Actors Training Company as well as doing courses with Frantic Assembly and Gaga Dance.

She starred in several plays, which were premiered in venues, like the National Portrait Gallery and at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She is part of the art collective Hybris, where she combines her passion for political research, critical thinking, collaboration, conceptual work and performance art. It combines political expression and artistic manifestation.
Theresa is currently working on her own TV format.
